Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit a form on this site, we collect your name, and any email address, phone number, organization, and message you provide, along with whether you consented to be contacted.
Our web host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To respond to your question, donation, volunteer interest, or partnership inquiry.
- To coordinate services, drop-offs, and volunteer scheduling.
- To keep internal records of communications with supporters.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share information only with staff and authorized volunteers who need it, or when required by law.
Guest confidentiality
Shelter intake conversations are confidential. We never publish a guest's name, photo, or story without separate written permission, which the guest may withdraw at any time.
Online donations
Our donate buttons hand you off to PayPal, a separate company that processes the payment under its own privacy statement. We never see or store your card or bank numbers. From PayPal we receive only the donation record and the donor details PayPal shares with us, such as name, email, and any note you add.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not set non-essential cookies. If we add any such tool in the future, we will name it here and add a consent banner that lets you decline as easily as accept before those scripts load.
Data retention and your choices
Form submissions are retained only as long as needed for the purpose you contacted us about, plus any period required for our records. You may ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you.
To make a request, call or text (937) 935-4292 or use our contact page.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Information about minors in a household is handled through direct intake conversations, not this site.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
