Women & family shelter services are temporarily unavailable

Service status

What is open, limited, or closed today

We publish availability so nobody drives across the county for a bed that isn't there. Status shown here is only as current as its confirmation date — calling is always the surest answer.

Calling and texting are available 24/7. Shelter entry is not — Peak of Hope is a residential shelter program, not a 24/7 walk-in shelter. Current intake hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and they may change once our Shelter Coordinator is hired.
