Shop local, support Peak of Hope

Some Logan County businesses give a share of what you spend to Peak of Hope Shelter. Buying from them is not a donation — it is a purchase from that business, with a portion passed on to the shelter.

Prices, stock, and customer service belong to each business. Purchases are not tax-deductible gifts.

How it works

Three steps, no extra cost to you

Every listing below shows the business, what qualifies, the exact share they give, and the terms they approved in writing.

  • Pick a local business

Each business below has agreed in writing to support the shelter through a specific product, service, or promotion.

  • Buy what qualifies

Follow the listing's terms — only the items or services named there count toward the shelter.

  • The business sends its share

The business passes on its agreed portion to Peak of Hope Shelter. Nothing is added to your price.

Shop Local questions

How does Shop Local, Support Peak of Hope work?
A local business agrees to give a share of the price of a specific product, service, or promotion to Peak of Hope Shelter. You buy from the business as usual, and the business sends the shelter its agreed share.
Is my purchase a tax-deductible donation?
No. You are buying from a business, not donating to the shelter, so your purchase is not a charitable gift and Peak of Hope Shelter cannot issue you a receipt. If you want a tax-deductible donation, give directly on our donate page.
Who sets the price and handles the order?
The business does. Prices, stock, delivery, returns, and customer service belong to the business. Peak of Hope Shelter is not a seller or a party to your transaction.
How do I know an offer is current?
Every listing shows the date staff last verified it with the business, and offers hide themselves automatically once their end date passes. If something looks wrong, call or text (937) 935-4292.
