- How do I start volunteering at Peak of Hope Shelter?
- Send the form on this page or call (937) 935-4292. Staff will talk with you about your availability and which role fits, then walk you through any screening required for that role.
- Is a background check required?
- It depends on the role. Any role with direct guest contact requires screening; sorting donations or outdoor projects generally do not. Each role below lists its requirement.
- Can my group or church volunteer together?
- Yes. Group projects are some of our most useful days. Tell us your group size and preferred date range and we will match you to a project.
- Is there a minimum age to volunteer?
- Age requirements vary by role and are listed with each opportunity. Younger volunteers are usually welcome when accompanied by an adult.
